Description -  The ABI 7900 is a high throughput real time PCR system that detects and quantitates nucleic acid sequences.  The 7900 is ideally suited for drug discovery labs that have HTS requirements.  Key applications include gene expression quantitation and the detection of SNP's using the fluorogenic 5' nuclease assay.  The ABI 7900HT is a fully automated system that reads 384 and 96 well plates.
